MARCH 8, 2018 - CHICO, CA: The Chico Heat have announced the addition of catcher Parke Phillips, from Brown University for the 2018 summer season. Phillips, from Venice, FL is in his second year with the Bears.
Parke played last summer with the Galion Graders in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. In 31 games, he finished the summer with summer with 25 hits, eight doubles and one home run to go along with 13 RBIs
He graduated from The Out-of-Door Academy in 2017, where he was All-State, a FACA All-Star, District MVP, DA Baseball MVP, ODA Athlete of the Year and was on the Honor Roll.
At Brown University, Park plans to concentrate in Business, Entrepreneurship and Organizations.
