Heat Continue To Give Back To the Community

OCTOBER, 3: 2017 – CHICO, CA:  Since the establishment of the Chico Heat, it has always been important for us to give back to the community.  During the 2018 season, the Heat built on momentum from previous years and continued to give their time and talent back to the community.

n total, the Heat help raise over $11,000 through three different three theme jersey nights.

The Paint the Park Pink Jersey Auction (presented by Chico Breast Care Center) raised money which was donated to a Host Family Mother who is currently battling breast cancer.  The Star Wars Jersey Auction (sponsored by 5th Sun Clothing) raised money for the Boys and Girls Club of the North Valley while  Military Appreciation Night Jersey Auction  for various military groups including Blue Star Mom's, Chico Military Hero's, Chico Veterans Center, and Chico State Veterans Center.

In addition, the Heat players, management staff, mascot and coaches also made several appearances throughout the year to various youth organizations while several groups did in-game fundraising throughout the season.

The Heat strive to attend as many community events as possible -- both big and small -- and encourage everyone to be an active member by attending events, supporting local businesses, and providing a positive environment for our children to grow up and thrive in.
