Heat Club Seals 9-3

The Heat completed the sweep of the San Francisco Seals 9-3 on Thursday as 1753 fans crammed into Nettleton Stadium not only watch the Heat but to also see the return of the ZOOperstars.  The Heat broke the game open with a seven run fourth inning.

Parke Phillips continued his hot hitting going 3-3 with a double and three RBI.  He currently leads the league with a .432 average, first in doubles and is second in RBI.  Trenton Stowe also had two hits for Chico. 

Five pitchers combined to limit the Seals to only three runs with Wesley Clawson earning the win to improve to 4-0 which is good enough to lead the league in wins. 

With the win the Heat are now  20-5 and the los drops the Seals to 7-16.

The Heat now travel to take on the Medford Rogues this weekend for four games bfore returning home on Tuesday, June 3rd.
