Dragmire To Return For 3rd Season With Heat

APRIL 13, 2018 - CHICO, CA:  The Chico Heat have announced the return of Pitcher Grant Dragmire, from Hawaii Pacific University for the 2018 summer season. 

This will be Grant’s third season with the Heat.

He was a member of the Heats’ 2016 Great West League Championship team, scoring the only run in the game.  That season he played in 34 of the Heat’s 60 games as an infielder, batting .213 with seven 7 doubles, 2 triples and 18 RBI. 

Grant returned to the Heat in 2017 as a pitcher going 1-0 with 5 saves in 10 games out of the bullpen while averaging over a strikeout per inning pitched.  

Dragmire, from Elk Grove, CA is in his first year with the Sharks after transferring from Folsom Lake Community College where he had a record of 3-3 with 1 save over 56.2 innings pitched.  He appeared in 14 games, making 10 starts.
