HEAT SIGN CATCHER JAKE MEYER
Chico, CA: The Chico Heat have announced the addition of freshman catcher Jake Meyer, from the University of Arizona for the 2018 summer season.
Meyer, from Scottsdale, AZ played at Scottsdale Desert Mountain High School. He was a 6A All-State honorable mention, a Perfect Game Underclass All-American. He hit .300 with 22 RBI, seven doubles, two triples, four home runs and 17 walks as a senior finishing his high school career with 34 RBI and a .520 slugging percentage. He graduated with a 3.6 grade point average and plans on majoring in business.
